The NSW region we call the Highlands to the Sea embraces the scenic triangle of the Macarthur Region, the Southern Highlands including Goulburn, and the Illawarra.

Macarthur is less than an hour from Sydney and includes the beautiful towns of Camden, Campbelltown, and Picton in the Wollondilly Shire. These three towns were settled very early in our colonial history and can, with their many Georgian buildings, be seen as one of our first colonial corridors.

The Southern Highlands, ninety minutes from Sydney, includes the larger towns of Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale. Smaller villages such as Berrima, Exeter, Bundanoon and Robertson offer unique attractions, shopping and eateries. A number of vineyards in the region, now have cellar door sales and the wine trail is a major attraction. In spring people come from all over the world to enjoy Tulip Time and the many private gardens open to the public. At the edge of the shire is the Morton National Park with excellent facilities at Fitzroy Falls .

Goulburn, on the far side of the Southern Highlands, is our first inland city and today has a wonderful wide main street and boasts many preserved colonial buildings.

The Illawarra is the coastal strip from Stanwell Park to Kiama. Wollongong is its central city and while once famed for its BHP steel works, it is now a vibrant, multi-cultural city.

Gazed upon from atop the escarpment, the coast line itself is a breath-taking scenic wonder.

We're half way between Sydney and Canberra.

There's heaps to do, plenty to see, scenery galore, wine to taste, books to find, food to savour and much, much, more.
